From “Will you marry me?” to “We did it!” — watching Maddy and Nate grow together through life’s sweetest milestones has been such a joy.
Not too long ago, I had the honor of photographing their beautiful proposal — a day full of surprise, happy tears, and the beginning of their next chapter. Fast forward to a sunny Sunday morning, and here we were again — this time celebrating another huge moment: graduation.
On the quiet, golden-bright campus of Winthrop University, Maddy and Nate arrived hand in hand, beaming with pride. Caps in hand, gowns flowing, and smiles that said it all — they made it through college together.
We spent the morning strolling through the most iconic spots on campus — the iconic Winthrop sign, the fountain, and the brick pathways that hold so many memories. It wasn’t just about the diplomas — it was about their journey as a couple, their friendship, and how far they’ve come since those first days at Winthrop.
Every photo told a story — one of hard work, laughter, late-night study sessions, and a love that’s continued to deepen through every season. The way they looked at each other, encouraged one another, and shared little glances between camera clicks? Absolutely priceless.
