Logan and Julia’s engagement session at Montaluce Winery & Restaurant in Dahlonega, Georgia was one of those unforgettable days where love, joy, and intentionality overflowed from every moment.
Nestled in the rolling hills of North Georgia wine country, Montaluce is a dream location. With Tuscan-inspired architecture, golden vineyards, and peaceful water views, it set the perfect backdrop for a couple whose connection is as genuine as it is joyful.
From the moment they arrived, Logan and Julia brought such a calm, sweet presence. You could tell immediately that they weren’t there to “pose” — they were there to be. To celebrate the chapter they’re in, and to soak in each other. And that’s exactly what we did.
We wandered through rows of grapevines under the soft afternoon sun, capturing gentle forehead kisses, spontaneous laughter, and those quiet in-between moments where Logan looked at Julia like she was the only thing in the world. One of my favorite shots from Logan and Julia’s session was right after she said yes — the joy on they had as they looked up and celebrated with all their family and friends watching from the distant balcony. It was a beautiful reminder that love is never just about two people — it’s about the community that surrounds and supports you, too.
This session reminded me why I do what I do — to notice the in-between moments. The ones that aren’t perfectly posed, but perfectly them. The squeeze of a hand. The glance that says “I’ve got you.” The calm in the chaos.
